EDA University Center

The Center for Economic Development (CED) has been a certified EDA University Center since September 1986. The EDA University Center as of July 2012 is in a regional partnership with the Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) at California State University, Fresno. Together, CED and OCED will facilitate economic development activities within the Great Central Valley's 31 counties to further industry growth, job creation, entrepreneurship, innovation, commercialization, and workforce development in industry sectors with high growth potential, including agriculture, clean energy, health care, and water.

The EDA University Center is one of the U.S. Economic Development Administration Investment Programs, partnering the federal government and academia to make the abundant resources of universities available to their regional economic development community.
