2012 Economic Scorecard

2012 Economic Scorecard

The 2012 Economic Scorecard is an objective, data driven, document that examines 24 indices and ranks 9 regions on their scores in 5 different categories ranging from economic activity to quality of place while still providing an overall ranking of the regions. This year’s scorecard has expanded to examine nine regions including parts of five states. Also, we have changed the theme of the scorecard to put special emphasis on the four regions of the Northern Sacramento Valley, including not just the Tri County Region, but also Redding MSA, Yuba City MSA, and Sacramento MSA. The Northern Sacramento Valley is compared in every index and category to the Medford, Reno, Boise, Portland, and Fresno MSAs, as well as to the national average.
