The Center for Economic Development is working with its partners on a number of regional projects to address problems of economic distress in California communities. A short list of the larger projects include:

Funded by the California Emerging Technology Fund and the McConnell Foundation.

Golden Sierra Broadband Project - funded by the California Emerging Technology Fund (CED is a subcontractor on this project).

Northern California WIRED Project - this project seeks to expand opportunities for entrepreneurial development.

This project profiles entrepreneurs to highlight how ideas can be transformed into businesses, and how obstacles can be overcome.

Economic Development On-line Community

Site will allow the target population of economic and community development professionals to assist their colleagues by providing a venue for peer-to-peer development.
